The Asian Science Deans Forum (ASDF) is an annual platform that brings together Deans, Deputy Deans, academic leaders, and faculty members from science and technology institutions across Asia to collaborate, exchange ideas, and build sustainable academic and research partnerships.

In 2025, Universitas Islam Riau proudly hosts the forum, offering not only academic discourse but also a holistic experience that connects science, technology, culture, and industry. Participants will engage in discussions on current scientific challenges, while also exploring Riau’s rich cultural heritage and visiting leading companies in the region. These industrial visits provide insight into how science and technology are applied in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, and forestry—bridging academic dialogue with real-world innovation and regional potential.
